Java Developer

Description:

SOLUM Technologies India in Bangalore is seeking a Java Developer with 3+ years of experience to design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems. The role involves contributing to all development lifecycle phases, enhancing software for high performance and availability, and developing microservices for cloud deployment.This is a full-time on-site role in Bengaluru, India.

Responsibilities: 

• Designing and developing high-volume,low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance.
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code.
• Prepare and produce releases of software components. 
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
• Design and develop dockerised microservices for cloud.

Primary Skills (Mandatory):

• BS in Computer Science or related field and applicable work experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in Java Web Development.
• Core and Advanced Java 1.8, Web and Microservice development using Java (JSP, Servlet, Spring Boot, Spring MVC), Restful Web Services, Spring Framework, RDBMS (Postgres, MS SQL Server), Hibernate.
• Experience in developing Microservices for cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP) is preferred.
• Experience in Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Batch), Spring MVC, Microservice model, RESTful web services.
• Hands-on experience with Hibernate, JPA, or MyBatis, or any other persistence framework.
• Knowledge of databases like SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB is desired.
• Knowledge of Maven/Gradle.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes.

Secondary Skills:

• JavaScript, Front-end web development (Angular, Node.js) (Not mandatory).
