Ekko Begins Partnership with SOLUM
SOLUM combines its digital label hardware with Ekko’s platform software to give the best customer experience.
Ekko GmbH is an industry 4.0 SaaS platform for digitizing material and information flow. It is also an information technology (IT) company offering IT services and IT consulting located in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
By combining SOLUM’s electronic shelf label (ESL) hardware with Ekko’s platforms, Ekko was able to help improve numerous companies’ information flow as well as support shops’ logistics processes.
The diverse range of solutions from SOLUM and the advantages of its ESL functions when configuring the LEDs and buttons enabled Ekko to respond individually to customer requirements and implement them in the best possible way. Additionally, digitizing error-prone processes can increase efficiency by 87% and save several million sheets of paper. Hence, not only running or training times were drastically reduced, but also paper and toner costs were completely eliminated.
Through Ekko and SOLUM’s combined effort to digitize paper-based processes in the industry, the SaaS platform created a significant potential for cost savings while making the operations more efficient and sustainable.
